Battles take place in cities and industrial factories which will be all that is left on Earth in the future. Instead it can be taken for granted that the world is full of war and everyone wears Daft Punk helmets. Set in a gritty science fiction future, Retribution has no explicit story to speak of. This free-to-play multiplayer FPS by Zombie Studios has guns galore but does it have what it takes to compete with today's multiplayer powerhouses? Thus to me, Blacklight Retribution is less of a sequel and serves as my introduction to the series. In fact, I don't even remember that there WAS a Blacklight: Tango Down.
